My Approach
Healing through laughter and authenticity.

My job is to work myself out of a job. I work with youth, adults, and families through decision making and strengthening life skills, by emphasizing relationships and making laughter a priority.

I hold a relational lens in my practice, focused on not only your relationship with others, but also on your relationship with yourself. The key to therapeutic services, and relationships in general, is to make sure that there is a level of trust and comfort for the client to build rapport and explore experiences without feeling shame or judgement. Throughout services, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and engage in conversation around what you hope to gain from therapy.

At the onset of services, I will explain the primary evidence-based theoretical orientations that I specialize in, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychoanalytic Therapy. These, as well as a few other theoretical orientations (Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Reality Therapy) may be used and tailored to each individual client. These are the therapy methods and techniques that I will use to better understand your story, and assist with creating achievable goals to guide you throughout the therapy process.

Therapy is your journey to take, and if you decide to, I can help guide you through it. Taking this journey can be hard for some, so thank you in advance for choosing me to be a part of it with you and allowing me to remind you of how amazing you are!
