About Me
As an Oakland native, I attended the University of California Santa Barbara, graduated in 2014 and received my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, with a double minor in Education and Applied Psychology. I went on to attend California State University Fullerton, and graduated in 2016 with my Master's in Social Work, and a concentration in Community Mental Health. Shortly after, I acquired my Associate Clinical Social Worker certification (ASW), while working at a non-profit organization in the community I grew up in, within Oakland. From there, I earned hours, took additional continued education classes, and went on to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2019.

With over half a decade of experience in the field, I have worked with a wide array of children, adults, and families from diverse cultures and backgrounds, in a way that was most supportive to them. It is my intention to help you reach your goals through relationship building, playfulness, humor, and directness when appropriate. I pride myself on working with clients to develop and strengthen their self-advocacy, support them through their healing, and create and maintain mental and emotional stability.
In collaboration with my clients, I make a consistent effort to help set and achieve realistic goals, highlight that we are all more than our current circumstances, and find a way to laugh through the pain. While life sometimes hits us with disappointments and negative situations, I believe that there is always a positive to be found in the midst of it all, you just have to look for it.
